Larry Fausett
Mr. Fausett has lived in Santa Barbara since 1984. He is concerned with the threat to public health posed by various vectors and relies on his knowledge of the natural history of various species to minimize vector threats while preserving beneficial species. Larry holds Bachelors, Masters and Ph.D. Degrees in Biology and utilizes his education to thoroughly research biological systems which assists the MVMD staff in effectively serving the community. Larry is also a licensed Pest Control Advisor in the State of California and stays abreast of vector threats and environmentally sound methods of managing them through Continuing Education. In addition to his formal education and licensure, Larry acquired working experience of both natural and man-made situations that harbor, and provide breeding sites, for vectors in his 20+ years as Operations and Maintenance Manager at the Santa Barbara County Flood Control District. Larry is currently the Vice-President of the Board.
