It's California Mosquito Awareness Week! April 19-25

West Nile Virus (WNV) spreads via mosquito bites and is the most serious mosquito-borne disease in California.

Did you know there are more than 3,500 types of mosquitoes worldwide? In California, Culex mosquitoes can spread West Nile Virus, which is the most serious mosquito-borne disease in the state.
